Employment Services
Employment may mean something different to each person. We offer a wide range of services to support your interests and needs.
Employment Exploration is a service that helps individuals gain a better understanding of employment opportunities in their community. Exploration services can help a person decide if they want to work in the community and can be an important first step to future planning. Exploration can help individuals learn about different jobs and introduces employment experience through activities such as business tours, informational interviews, and volunteering. Our goal is to help people develop a better understanding of their interests and the type of support they might need to accomplish their goals.
Employment Development is a service that assists individuals to discover their interests and increase their strengths to springboard their job search for an independent community job through activities such as resume writing, market and educational research, identifying employment barriers and career interests, and preparing to interview. Participating in development services helps the individual gain and improve marketable skills that will help them find a job.
